TRIP ON 8-06-2013 : 80 km

Normally we would do a trip in Oudenaarde, but our third companion had an injury...

So we went by train to Oostende to buy a PSE compound bow (later on we will do a step "biathlon" : archery and step). Then we went back by step to hometown. 

Top 3 of the most beautiful footbikes in Europe (2 x Netherlands : kickbike (made in Finland) tuned, BCS evo (made in Italy) tuned, 1 x France : zockra (made in France)) ....

In 2012 there was a stepdesigner from the Netherlands who based the steering of his new proto footbike like this one. I hope he will finish his footbike soon.

Exobull 2017 : so, I want to inform you about my new step (the "movement" will be named "cyberkicken"). It will not resemble a carbon step such as Peter G., Exion, Zockra etc...
It will be COMPLETELY different. First, there will be a CVT (continuously variable system = transmission) integrated, the form will NOT be the same as a stepper bike, batavus stepper, streetstepper, treadmill stepper, elliptigo stepper, kickbike, bcs, footbike, sidewalker, esla, my own "Xiome" step etc.
The sliding movement will still exist.
Because the CVT you can absorb the lost step-power movements. The model is dated now only for the BENELUX, next month, i will finished the model registration. €o)  If you also a step developper or you know something about hydraulics or pneumatics : dries.verraes@gmail.com

A lasercutter and a 3D printer will be used for wrapping the Xiome frame in carbon.

In 2009, i bought a strange looking stem for the scooter. But now it looks very original....

Who has some experience with the following item? It's an "extra wheel" for a bicycle, but i think it will be usefull for a scooter/step too. 5 years ago i saw this on the web, the bags where different.

An other picture of the Xiome step

I'm waiting for my 3D printer to make some parts. So with this parts it will be easier to wrap this thing in carbon. 

Status carboniseren Xiome step : De tekening van het kader (om het model in op te hangen) is nog in volle gang. Deze zal 2 functies hebben, nl. het layeren van de carbon + vacuum trekken.

Deze zal pas klaar zijn midden juli 2012. Daarna begint het carboniseren.

De exobull (nieuw model step) zou pas eind 2014 klaar moeten zijn. De vorm zal anders zijn, de stepbeweging blijft hetzelfde (geen loopbandstep, geen bikestepper, geen streetstepper etc...) maar door een vernieuwende techniek (extraatje) zullen snelheden rond 30km/u haalbaar moeten zijn. Een ruwe schets is klaar, maar deze wordt pas in 2013 op de blog gedeponeerd
